Women Empowerment Took Center Stage at WTA Finals “Ladies Day” – CONNECT Networking Series Were There!

For those of us in Singapore over the last week, it was made very clear that there was a buzz about town. That excitement was due to the Top 8 women tennis stars (singles & doubles) gracing the center court of the Singapore Indoor Stadium for the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore 2015 presented by SC Global.

The stage was set, as we witnessed some of the highest quality women’s tennis we have seen in some time. In my opinion, the girls genuinely thought that due to the absence of current world number 1 Serena Williams – they had a shot of winning. This clearly raised the bar as we saw some insanely good action on the court. Congrats of course to the 26 year old Agnieszka “Aga” Radwańska from Poland, who took out the honors winning this year’s finals.

The action off the court was equally in full force at the Racquet Club – the event’s VIP corporate hospitality marquee. Celebrities, CEO’s, socialites and of course the legends and current superstars of women’s tennis were present throughout the week to create what was arguably one of Singapore’s most premium sports hospitality offering.
